(2/15/24) We’re excited to announce a new and improved version of Polycam’s AI Texture Generator tool. Over the past year, our AI Texture Generator has become one of our most popular web creation tools, and the #1 Google search result for “AI texture generation” or “AI material generator”.

Here’s what’s new:

Once you’ve logged in to the Polycam web app, you can find the AI Material Generator on the left-hand sidebar.

All generated materials now include four material maps: albedo, displacement (height), normal, and roughness. The generation of each map should be improved across the board, using the latest versions of Stable Diffusion.

Our most requested feature! Now you can generate textures up to 2048px wide, and up to 8 images per prompt.

Now you can further refine your texture generation with an original image input and any negative prompts you’d like to exclude.
