Managing your Team in Polycam is straightforward with the People tab, where you can invite new members, set their access levels, and handle any issues with invitations. This guide will walk you through the process of inviting users, assigning access levels, and managing their Polycam Enterprise licenses.
How to Invite New Users
To manage your Team members and their access levels, navigate to the People tab within your Team space. To invite additional users:
- Tap the “Invite more” button located in the Team page header.
- Enter the email addresses of the users you want to invite.
How to Set Access Levels
When inviting new members, you can assign one of the following access levels:
- Owner: Full administrative rights, including adding or removing team members.
- Can Edit: Ability to make changes to captures and settings.
- Can View: View-only access without editing rights.
You can update these access levels at any time by returning to the People tab.
How to accept new Invitations
Once you send an invitation:
- The invited users will receive an email to join the Team. If they don't receive it promptly, they should check their spam folder. If issues persist, contact our customer success team.
- Users can either create a new Polycam account or log in to an existing one. If logged in, they can accept the invitation directly from their account. Upon acceptance, they will become a Team member.
How to Access Polycam Features
New Team members will be granted Polycam Enterprise licenses, unlocking the full range of Polycam Pro features.
How to Remove Users
You can remove members from your Team at any time. Removed members will lose access to all Polycam Pro features.
