How to Change Your Capture’s Thumbnail
1. Navigate to Your Capture: Open the Polycam app and select the capture for which you want to change the thumbnail.
2. Position the Capture: Adjust the view of your capture to the angle or perspective you want to render as the new thumbnail. This will be the image displayed as the preview for your capture.
3. Access Thumbnail Mode: Tap the camera icon located on the right-hand side of the screen. This will open the thumbnail mode.
Use Drawing Tools (Optional)
In thumbnail mode, you can draw on your capture to highlight specific features or add annotations.
- Change Drawing Mode: On the bottom navigation bar, select the drawing mode that suits your needs.
- Adjust Pen or Marker Color: Choose the color of the pen or marker you wish to use for drawing.
Save or Share Your Thumbnail
- Save Thumbnail: To update your capture with the new thumbnail, tap the Save Thumbnail button. This will apply the changes and update the thumbnail for your capture.
- Share Snapshot: To share your new thumbnail with others, tap the upward button. This will allow you to share the snapshot through various platforms or apps.
- Download to Camera Roll: If you want to save the thumbnail directly to your device, tap the download button. This will download the snapshot to your camera roll.
