Users with owner permissions in Polycam can manage team settings. This guide explains how to modify important settings in your team account, including privacy settings, automatic library additions, and disabling comments.
Accessing Team Settings
1. Log in to Your Polycam Account: Log in to your Polycam account
2. Navigate to the Team Page: Select your team name at the bottom left to access the team page.
3. Navigate to the Team Settings: Go to the gear icon and select the Settings tab. From here, you can adjust various options for your team.
Team Settings Overview
Stop Members from Publishing to Explore: For enhanced privacy, this setting prevents all team members from publishing their captures to the public Explore community, even if the captures don’t belong to the team.
- Note: When enabled, team members cannot publish any captures or albums to Explore, ensuring all content remains private.
Add Captures/Albums to Team Library Automatically: Ensures all new captures and albums created by team members are automatically added to the team library for shared access.”

Note: Captures created before a user joins a team will not be added to the team album automatically. Users must manually add them for other team members to view.
Make Team Captures and Albums Private Automatically: Ensures all new captures and albums created by team members are only visible to other team members, maintaining privacy.
Disable Comments: Disables team members from adding comments to any capture.
