How to Change the Default Unit of Measurement in Polycam

You can change the default unit of measurement directly within the Measurement tool. This change will apply to all captures across your account, allowing you to maintain consistent units of measurement for your account. 

Change Unit of Measurement on Polycam Mobile

1. Log In to Polycam: Open the Polycam app on your mobile device and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Your Library: Access your capture library and select a capture.

3. Open the Measure Tool: On the bottom navigation bar, tap on the Measure icon.

4. Access Measurement Settings: Within the measurement tool, tap on the gear icon on the left-hand side of the page.

5. Modify Unit of Measurement: A new panel will appear where you can modify your units of measurement. This will update the unit of measurement for all captures in your account.

Change Unit of Measurement on Polycam Web

1. Log In to Polycam: Visit Polycam Web and log into your account.

2. Navigate to Your Library: Access your capture library and select a capture.

3. Open the Measure Tool: On the top right-hand side of the page, click on the Measure con.

4. Access Measurement Settings: Click on the gear icon located on the top right-hand side of the page.

5. Modify Unit of Measurement: A new window will appear, allowing you to adjust the default unit of measurement and measurement snapping options. Select your preferred unit of measurement to apply it across all captures in your account.
