Opening the Views Panel
To get started, open your capture and click Views in the left toolbar. The Saved Views panel will open on the left side of the screen.
Standard Views
Standard views are built-in camera positions that give you instant access to common angles. Click Standard views to expand the list and reveal the following presets:
| View | Description |
|---|---|
| Top | Looking straight down at the capture |
| Left | Facing the left side of the space |
| Right | Facing the right side of the space |
| Front | Facing the front of the space |
| Back | Facing the back of the space |
| Bottom | Looking straight up from below |
Click any view name to jump to that camera position instantly.
Saving a Custom View
You can save any camera angle as a custom view to return to it at any time.
To save a custom view:
- Rotate, pan, or zoom the capture to the exact position you want.
- Click at the top of the Saved Views panel.
- Give your view a name and confirm.
Your custom view will appear in the panel alongside the standard views.
Custom views capture your full viewing state, including projection type and navigation mode. This means a saved view will also preserve:
- Projection type: Whether you were in Orthographic or Perspective projection when the view was saved.
- Navigation mode: Whether you were in Walkthrough or Orbit mode when the view was saved.
Sharing a View
Both standard and custom views can be shared so clients or collaborators land on that exact camera angle when they open the link.
To share a view:
- Hover over any view in the Saved Views panel, whether standard or custom.
- Click the share icon to the right of the view name.
- Copy the generated link and send it to your client or collaborator.
When a recipient opens the link, the capture will load directly at the saved camera position, with no manual navigation required.
