Signs That Your LiDAR Sensor May Be Malfunctioning
- Missing White Guidelines: When using LiDAR in Polycam, if you notice that the white guidelines are missing and the screen shows only a blue background, this may indicate that the LiDAR sensor is not functioning as it should.
- Slow or No Object Detection: If your LiDAR sensor is not quickly detecting objects or accurately measuring distances, it might be experiencing an issue.
- Captures Missing Depth: If you complete a scan and the result looks flat rather than three-dimensional, your LiDAR sensor may not be capturing depth correctly.
