How to Delete Your Polycam Account

Permanently remove your Polycam account and all associated data. This action is irreversible and will delete all captures, models, and account settings.

Important: Deleting your Polycam account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including captures, models, and account settings, will be permanently lost. If you're unsure or need assistance, please contact Polycam support before proceeding.

Understanding Account Deletion

When you delete your Polycam account, the following occurs:

Complete data removal: All captures, 3D models, and project files are permanently deleted
Account settings erased: Your profile, preferences, and subscription information are removed
Access revocation: You will immediately lose access to all Polycam services
Irreversible action: Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered

Before You Delete: Consider exporting or downloading any important captures or models you want to keep. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to retrieve this data.

How to Delete Your Account on Polycam Web

1Navigate to Account Settings

Click on your profile icon or name in the top-right corner of the screen to access your account settings.

2Delete Your Account

On the Account Settings page, click the Delete Polycam account button.

3Confirm Deletion

Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to delete your account. This will permanently delete your account and any captures stored in it.

Final Warning: You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Review your decision carefully before proceeding, as this action takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed.

How to Delete Your Account on the Polycam App

1Open the Polycam App

Launch the Polycam app on your mobile device and log in if you're not already signed in.

2Access Your Profile Settings

Tap on your profile icon, located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

3Select Account Settings

Tap the Account button from the menu.

4Choose Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom of the Account Settings page and tap Delete Polycam Account.

5Confirm Deletion

Confirm your choice to delete the account by following the on-screen instructions.

What Happens After Deletion

Once you confirm account deletion:

Immediate effect: Your account is deleted immediately and you will be logged out
Data removal: All captures, models, and account data are permanently erased
No recovery: Your account and associated data cannot be restored
New account option: You can create a new Polycam account at any time using the same or different email address
