How to Update Your Polycam App

Keeping your Polycam app up to date gives you access to the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes. Follow these simple steps to update your app.

Recommendation: We HIGHLY recommend turning on automatic updates in your App Store settings. This keeps you on the latest version of Polycam automatically.

Checking for Updates

1Open the Polycam app

Launch the Polycam app on your device.

2Look for the Update indicator

If an update is available, you'll see a purple Update App button displayed in the top right corner of the screen.

Installing the Update

Once you've identified that an update is available:

1Tap the "Update App" button

Tap the purple Update App button in the top right corner.

2Choose your next step

You'll be taken to the update page where you have two options:

  • View What's New: Click "What's New" to see a detailed list of changes, improvements, and new features included in this update
  • Install Update: Click "Install Update" to proceed directly to your device's App Store

3Complete the update

You'll be redirected to your device's App Store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).

4Tap "Update"

In the App Store, tap Update to download and install the latest version of Polycam.
