The password reset feature allows you to regain access to your account if you've forgotten your password or need to change it for security reasons. This process sends a secure reset link to your registered email address.

Important Note for Third-Party Authentication Users

If you signed up using Google Play or Apple App Store, your account credentials are tied directly to these platforms. The password reset process described in this article applies only to accounts created directly with Polycam.

If you registered through Google Play or Apple App Store, you will need to reset your password through those respective platforms:

  • Google Play users: Manage your password through your Google Account settings
  • Apple App Store users: Update your Apple ID password through your Apple ID settings

Once updated, you can use these credentials to log back into your Polycam account.

Prerequisites to Reset

  • An active account with a verified email address
  • Access to the email account associated with your Polycam account

How to Reset

1. Visit the Password Reset Page: Go to https://poly.cam/passwordreset

2. Enter Your Email Address: Input the email address associated with your Polycam account

3. Send Reset Link: Click on the Send me a reset link button

4. Check Your Email: You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password

5. Set a New Password: Follow the link in the email and create a new password when prompted

Troubleshooting

Email Not Received

If you don't receive the password reset email within a few minutes:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder
  2. Verify you entered the correct email address
  3. Add noreply@poly.cam to your contacts/safe sender's list
  4. Try requesting another reset link
