Polycam allows you to update your existing email address associated with your account to a new email. This is useful if you have an account linked to an Apple relay ID and want to switch it to your personal account, or if you want to change your personal email address to your work email. Please note that you can only update your email on the Polycam web platform and the new email must not be associated with another Polycam account. Follow the steps below to successfully update and verify your new email.

1. Go to Account Settings: On Polycam web, click on your Profile image in the upper-right corner, then click Account from the dropdown menu.
2. Access Email Settings: In the Account menu, click Change Email.
3. Enter Your New Email Address: A new window will open. Enter the new email and your current password. Click the Update Email button to process the change.
4. Verify Your New Email Address: Polycam will send a verification email to your new email address. Check your inbox and follow the verification link to confirm the change.
Why Is My Email Request Change Failing?
If you're trying to change your email address and the request isn't going through, it might be because the email you're switching to is already linked to another Polycam account. Each email address can only be associated with one Polycam account, make sure you're using an email that isn’t already in our system.
